Program
Day 1 : Head to the South !- Leaving Marrakech at 9 :30 am for a transfer to M’hamid.
- Lunch on the road.
- Dinner and night in a hotel in M’Hamid
- This day starts with some theory on the basic driving rules in 18s on every type of roads.
- Then, we look more closely at all the subleties of a copilot in a rally raid. We learn who to read a road book, and who to use a terra trip and for the curious ones, the use of a GPS UNIK II and its integreted sentinel system.
- Before starting to drive, we remind you of all the driving operators and accessories and the safety procedures … and then let’s role !
- In the first place, you take position as the copiolte and observe the driving of your instructor, crossing dunes, braking, acceleration, crossing techniques, we look at everything.
- After this short observation period, you take place in the drivers seat. The program : a discovery raid where you learn how to contral the vehicule in an extraordinary set.
- We start some easy tracks to get closer to the dunes. We give you all the tricks to successfully cross the first dunes. After this learning period, you’ll drive in the late afternoon on a more technical route. We cross some more dunes before heading back to the hotel and enjoy the pool !
- Lunch, dinner and night at the hotel in M’Hamid
- Departure in the early morning for this ultimate last day. After yesterday’s learning, you are now ready to cross the desert !
- As a matter of facts, our rally raid day allow us to cross this magnificent desert from M’Hamid to Foum Zguid. A beautiful day in perspective !
- We use more technical tracks, cross the Erg Chegaga, amazing to drive in ! Then we move to a stonier road before arriving to Foum Zguid. The dune crossing is again on the program.
- You have the real priviledge of driving on a rally raid special which allows you to develop to a maximum the abilities of the PredatorX-18s !
- From Foum Zguid we head back with a transfer to Marrakech.
- Arrival in Marrakech around 8 :30 pm.
